An Open Call for Participation in the 2026 Community Photo Show Exhibition dates: November 14, 2026 – January 9, 2027 Photo Drop-Off Date: October 28 to 31, 2026, by 12 noon

Stamford, NY – Imagine your favorite photograph hanging on a gallery wall, right
between work by your neighbor and a photographer you haven't met yet. That is the
idea behind the annual Community Photo Show at Headwaters Arts Center, an
exhibition that is open to everyone from first-time shutterbugs to lifelong
photographers. This year’s show will be on view from November 14, 2026–January 9,
2027, at 66 Main Street in Stamford, and you are invited to participate. More information

Whether it isan experiment that went well, a favorite sunset over the Catskills, or a
portrait that is been sitting on your camera roll for years, all styles and subjects are
welcome. There are no size restrictions, no subject requirements, and no submission
fee.
To participate in showing and selling your work, drop off up to three unframed photos
to Headwaters Arts Center. The arts center will be accepting submissions from October
28 to 12 noon on October 31, 2026. Entry forms can be completed in person when
photos are dropped off. There are no requirements on size or subject matter, and there
is no submission fee. Artists may choose whether to sell photographs and set their own
prices if they do.
Come celebrate the show and the creativity of your neighbors at the opening reception
on November 14, from 3–5p. All are welcome!
