Welcome Blanket Quilting with Megan Avery @ Headwaters Arts Center

Welcome Blanket Quilting with Megan Avery

Wednesdays, September 2, 9, and 16, 5–7p

In this all-levels workshop, Megan Avery will lead participants in creating and personalizing a quilted blanket. At the end of the workshop, all of the blankets will be gathered to be sent to the Welcome Blanket project. Core Values thrift store in Stamford is donating items to be repurposed into this special blanket.

This workshop is a community meet up, a practical skills-building opportunity, and an act of kindness. There is no fee for the workshop, and all materials will be provided (though you are welcome to use materials from your own stash). Registration is required, and attendance at all meetings is encouraged.
